In the Spotlight
Very moving poetry! This book takes you on a powerful journey through religious deconstruction, trauma, self-discovery and acceptance. It is easy to relate to whether or not you yourself have gone through religious and personal trauma. Meaningful visuals as well. Highly recommend!
This collection of poetry hits so hard. Incorporating a lot of christian imagery and analogies, it really captures growing up in the church, being damaged by the church, and the difficult--yet empowering--journey away.
Critics and readers alike have praised Rachel's work for its thought-provoking nature and insightful narratives. Her poetry has been described as a source of comfort and inspiration for many.
